*The approval process for nestbox plans was discontinued in February, 2012. However, the Nestbox Committee, Education Committee and the NABS BOD have produced a Nestbox Fact Sheet (Download PDF) which outlines basic criteria and guidelines for choosing safe nestboxes. NABS acknowledges that different designs and guidelines may work better in some areas of the country than in others.
